MindManager 2012 now contains many new features that have been added to enhance present functionality
Marker Index
With the new Marker Index you can automatically generate a searchable list based on the markers you’ve placed in your map. For instance, using the Index, you can quickly see the tasks you have tagged with priority, progress or resources markers. By opening up the Marker Index pane (see image below) you can stay on top of your projects and plans.
Improved Brainstorming Mode
MindManager has always been great for capturing and displaying ideas generated during a brainstorming session. Now we’ve added a process to help you define what problem you are trying to solve, inspire original ideas, and categorize and refine those ideas so that you can proceed with a defined action plan. MindManager 2012 takes you through a three step process to make your brainstorming sessions more productive.
Dynamic Integration with SharePoint
MindManager 2012 provides dynamic Integration with SharePoint.All stored assets in SharePoint can now be displayed inside MindManager. The new SharePoint Items menu includes a complete set of predefined queries for documents, images, tasks and more, and also provides the ability to search multiple sites from within MindManager with improved search capabilities.
Task Filter
The new Task Filter feature automatically includes presets for resources, priorities, due dates, milestones, and statuses for tasks.
With the new filter capability it is easy to look at all tasks that have been assigned to you or staff and are due in the future. You can show priority tasks in any project to make sure that they are all on track.
Analysis View
Make better decisions by prioritizing and categorizing your mapped topics using the new Analysis View. The tool allows you to place topics into a predefined series of 2×2 analytics charts. Standard charts include Cost vs. Opportunity, Urgent vs. Important, SWOT and others.
Enhanced Hyperlinks & Browsing
you can now assign multiple hyperlinks per topic. We’ve also made it easier to use MindManager’s browser to conduct research.
Gantt Chart Improvements
You can now Drag and drop topics onto the Gantt chart to make them tasks. Printing of Gantt charts is easier with print preview and the ability to select a specific date range for printing.
Now with free online collaboration
All your maps can be shared with your extended team using this revamped integrated Mindjet cloud-based service. Mindjet Connect allows each MindManager user to securely store up to 1 GB of maps online. You cna invite other users to view and edit your maps.
